[amsat-bb:65528] AO-40 Update, 2003-01-26

At MA 2, Orbit 1028, AO-40's middle beacon came on only very weakly until
MA 55 when the S2 Tx was manually cycled off/on by a command station and
came back on at full power. This has happened several times in the past
and appears to be due to the S2 ALC. In this particular case, it may be
related to the fact that the beacon was cycled back on only shortly after
eclipse when the batteries were still relatively low and the temperature
was still cold. We have modified the schedule to not turn the beacon back
on until MA=10.
